This cooking and baking class is designed for children ages 8 to 16 and provides a structured, educational introduction to culinary skills with an emphasis on nutrition and healthy food choices. The program combines hands-on cooking experiences with age-appropriate instruction in food safety, kitchen techniques, and basic baking principles.
Students will learn how to prepare a variety of nutritious dishes, with a focus on soups, salads, and baked goods. Through guided activities, participants will explore fundamental concepts such as ingredient selection, balanced meals, and the role of nutrients in supporting overall health. The class encourages creativity while reinforcing practical skills, including measuring, mixing, knife safety, and following recipes.
